Supporting SDGs: A Healthier Future with Food4Cure
The Good News: A shift to healthy diets for 10 billion people while respecting our environment is achievable. Health and sustainability go hand in hand, benefiting people, nature, and economies.
The Challenge: Unhealthy eating causes health issues and environmental harm, with disparities. Poor diets lead to 11 million premature deaths annually.
Alarming Stats: 690 million face chronic hunger, and a third of food is wasted. Diets impact land, water, biodiversity, climate, and air quality.
We promote health and sustainable development through action:
- Healthier, nature-positive food combinations with science-backed innovation.
- A global youth-driven movement promoting positive dietary choices and urging action from governments and businesses for healthy, sustainable eating habits.

Goal 2: Zero Hunger
Food4Cure’s user-friendly app provides affordable, safe, and culturally relevant food combinations, working to prevent malnutrition, undernourishment, and nutrient deficiencies.
Revitalizing our food choices presents a remarkable opportunity to achieve the SDGs by 2030. While hunger and malnutrition persist, diet-related health issues like obesity, diabetes, cardiovascular diseases, and cancer are on the rise.
A significant reason for this trend is that modern food systems often prioritize quantity over quality. Despite an abundance of low-cost calories, we often lack diverse and nutritious options. Moreover, choosing healthy foods can sometimes cost up to five times more than opting for empty-calorie alternatives.”
Goal 3: Good Health and Well-Being
“Nutrition drives development, both shaping it and reflecting it. Enhancing nutrition paves the way for advancements in health, education, employment, women’s empowerment, poverty reduction, equality, and can establish the foundation for peaceful, secure, and stable societies.” Ban Ki-moon, 8th Secretary-General of the United Nations.
At Food4Cure, our aim is to help our members discover food combinations that support optimal growth and well-being throughout their lives, promoting physical, mental, and social health.
Risk factors encompass choosing foods low in fiber, high in salt/sodium, processed meats, and sugary beverages over fruits, vegetables, legumes, whole grains, nuts, seeds, dairy, seafood, calcium, and healthy fats
Goal 12: Responsible Consumption and Production
This goal focuses on using resources wisely and improving the quality of life for everyone. It’s crucial to address global food waste to reduce environmental strain.
As a startup, we’re committed to reducing food waste and promoting sustainability, especially in the culinary and nutritional fields. Our mission involves educating and advising on innovative and sustainable practices.”
